We have been clearing one of our stores and have available several spare barrel piano barrels for both street and café pianos (coin in the slot). This is a very rare opportunity to purchase these spare barrels as they very rarely turn up for sale today and these may be some of the last spare ones available.
These barrels will date from the circa 1880s onwards. Some are pinned having been removed for change of tune, others are ready for repinning, and some have just had the pins removed ready for new paper before repinning.
Condition varies and we can advise further on any specific barrel with further information.
If you had to manufacture a new barrel blank today with gear ring the cost would be quite high due to the labour and materials. Hence re-using these original barrels can be a massive financial saving over manufacturing new, but once they are gone that will be the last of our stock so contact us today for a bargain!
These may well be of interest to other restorers or amateur enthusiasts with a barrel piano to restore that has a badly damaged barrel or somebody looking to make a second barrel to fit an instrument.
