We are one of the most experienced English mechanical organ builders, with an enviable reputation for quality and reliability in operation.

With our vast experience of manufacturing new fair and concert organs we can offer a bespoke service to create an organ to suit your requirements and budget.
We can supply anything from: a hand turned organ to a 'fully motorised' organ, single rank models suitable for use at garden fetes and street entertainment, up to very large multi rank models with many automatic registers and percussion effects for a more rousing, powerful performance.
Our organs can be supplied with traditional keyless / keyed pneumatic actions or a modern midi system. You can be assured when you buy a new Dean organ that you will benefit from our experience in tailoring a design to suit your requirements.
All of our own manufactured organs are constructed 'in house' here at our Whitchurch workshop using the finest quality materials and English craftsmanship.

Not only should a new organ give excellent musical performance, but it should also be attractive to the eye. At Dean Organ Builders we offer a choice of styles for the façade of your new organ from the brightly coloured traditional British fairground style to the pastel coloured classical perhaps incorporating gold leaf, the choice will be yours.
We also offer various styles of organ figures: band masters, bell ringers, cherubs and putti to enhance still further the organ's facade. You are really only limited by your imagination and budget, as with any artists we just need your patronage to create something wonderful for future generations to enjoy.

Original Facade Style & Sound
Not only do we have experience of building our own style and design of British fair organ, but our restoration and repair experience gives us an understanding of historic instruments, their layout, scaling and style of build. This, together with our archive of original pipe scales and organ specifications and layouts enables us to offer instruments manufactured new, but based on historical examples.
We can also supply new music from our factory pattern library and a front produced from our archive of original carving moulds to acompany such an organ, so creating a new organ based on historical organ sound and look.

A huge choice of pipe work configurations and percussion effects are available on most new organs - Bourdon Celeste, Violins, Piccolos, Trumpets, Saxophone, Trombones, Flute, Tremulant, Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Woodblocks, Drums, Cymbals etc. etc.
It is not only the look of the façade that is important, but also the cabinet / case in which the organ is housed. This cabinet / case needs to be aesthetically pleasing on the eye, we can offer a veneered cabinet, staining and graining, polished wood, painted or stained finish the choice will be yours.
